Martin has been a Director of The Turner Group since its origin in 1991 and Managing Director since 2003. During his consulting career, spanning more than 25 years in London and Brisbane, Martin has specialised in the recruitment of executive, management and senior support staff for the financial services and professional services sectors. He has held positions on the Queensland Council of the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA), including over six years as the Ethics Chair.

As MD, he leads and feeds the team, and inspires everyone to love what they do. Martin enjoys nothing more than networking and looking after clients’ own career choices, and now, the careers of many of their children. He is passionate about the recruitment consulting industry and proud that people look to The Turner Group as a benchmark for professionalism.

Martin is known for his appreciation of wine, cooking and entertaining, and is an avid Welsh rugby fan (fond of the local red jerseys too). As a father of two teenage daughters, he is also a convert to netball: ‘The other game they play in heaven.’
